Jason Folkerts is a native South Dakotan who graduated from the University of Sioux Falls in 1989. He spent ten years in the Minneapolis area and several years in Los Angeles before coming back to work 30 hours a week as a Director of a program at his Alma Mater, the University of Sioux Falls. For the past year Jason has made his mark in the Midwest by being the featured Editorial Cartoonist for the Sioux Falls Argus Leader and the Rapid City Journal. His work has also appeared in the Mitchell Republic and the Pierre Capital Journal. He is becoming a well known illustrator around the midwest - especially utilizing a pen and ink style. Soon he will be heard on the radio as a fill-in talk show host for a popular AM station. He lives in Sioux Falls with his wife and three children. In his spare time he jogs, reads, and gets to Disneyland whenever he can.
